Gill models a piece of jewellery, and then a plaster mould is made so the design can be repeated by press moulding. After bisque firing, copper carbonate is painted on, and then a clear glaze is applied. After firing to 1260°C, liquid metallic lustres are painted and fired again to 700°C.
